WHA: World Health Assembly
The World Health Assembly (WHA) is a roundtable forum that is held by the World Health Organisation to decide on international policies relating to health.
Delegates from the 194 members of the World Health Organisation (WHO) attend the World Health Assembly to discuss a specific agenda that has been set by the General Committee of Assembly. The agendas normally revolve around public health policies and budgets and after a period of discussion, the WHA come to a collective decision.
